Tuesday 12th October 2010, Longchamp (www.jourdegalop.com) Temps au Temps (Invincible Spirit) took his time to win his first Listed race, having been frequently unlucky in coming up against some very good horses. His chance came, after two second places, in the €55,000 Prix Herod (Listed – 2yos – 1400m) which he won by a short neck from the German horse Stark Danon (Marchand de Sable). Given a good ride by Christophe Soumillon, he sat towards the back of the field before making his move half way up the straight and fighting off an attack from eventual third Fariman (Invincible Spirit). Winning trainer Mikel Delzangles declared afterwards that he should now go for the Critérium de Maisons-Laffitte(Gr2), over 1,200m.

Temps au Temps was bought by Agence FIPS and Gilles Forien for the Marquise de Moratalla for the sum of €370,000 last August at the Arqana Yearling Sales. His dam, Noahs Ark (Charnwood Forest), finished third in the Breeders' Cup Sprint (Gr1).

Forthe Millionkiss (Dashing Blade) won the €52,000 Prix du Ranelagh (L - 3yos+ - 1600m) in the hands of young jockey Gaëtan Masure.  Second placed, Mary Boleyn (King's Best) finished strongly to be beaten by only a head. Entre Deux Eaux (Ange Gabriel) was a further half a length back in third place.

Bred in Germany by his owner, Rheinard Ubber, Forthe Millionkiss is a half brother of Forever Nadine (Kornado), third placed in a Listed at Mulheim, and of Forever Free (Platini), winner of a Listed at Baden-Baden.

In winning the €24,000 Prix du Conservatoire (2yos Males Maiden – 1700m) from start to finish, Dildar (Red Ransom) proved her true class. He was supplemented for this maiden, after one previous run when she finished sixth, by trainer Alain de Royer Dupré who said afterwards: “He is not a two year old. He will be better next year if he has a good winter.” Pine Creek (Doyen) was a short neck behind in second with Meandre (Slickly) a further length and a half behind in third.

Bred by the Aga Khan Studs, Dildar is the first foal out of the Lagardère mare Diamond Tango (Acatenango), who was trained by André Fabre. She finished her career with a success in the Prix de Pomone (Gr2).

Gypsy Highway (High Chaparral) won the €24,000 Prix de la Tour des Dames (2yo Fillies Maiden – 1700m), with authority by 2 lengths. Held up and the last to make her move, Gypsy Highway picked up with ease, and left all her rivals in her wake, when jockey Grégory Benoist asked her for an effort. Second place went to Newcastle (High Yield), with Accordia (Smart Strike) a further length and a half back in third. Gypsy Highway is now a possibility for the Prix Miesque (Gr3) if she runs again this year according to connections.

Gypsy Highway is out of Rose Gypsy (Green Desert), who beat Banks Hill (Danehill) to win the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (Gr1) when trained by Aidan O'Brien. She has also produced Chinese

Mandarin (Kingmambo), placed twice in Gr3s at Klampenborg and Listed placed at Jagersro.
