A new venture named Capital Pur-Sang showed up for the first time in France on Saturday on the Arqana Deauville December Breeding sale. Ghislain Bozo invested €215.000 for lot 180 , Saturnine (Galileo), a Listed winner whose dam also won a major race. The agent of Meridian International, along with Nicolas de Chambure, has just created Capital Pur-Sang whose aim is to invest in breeding. After purchasing three broodmares at Newmarket last week, he also bought Saturnine for this new venture, but they are not yet decided on what stallion she will be covered by. “We created this company in September. The aim is to recruit the maximum of partners to invest in top class young mares who we will keep for a period of 5 years. We work in partnership with Haras de d'Etreham and Ballylinch Stud in Ireland, who have invested in this venture. We have a committee which is made up of Lady O'Reilly, Marc de Chambure, Guillaume de Saint-Seine and David Salabi.”
